GumGauge is proud to announce a new partnership with GKT Women's RFC, supplying i/impact indicators to the full squad ahead of the new season — a significant step forward for player welfare in grassroots women's rugby.
GKT Women's RFC, the women's rugby club of King's College London, Guy's and St Thomas', will use GumGauge throughout the season. Every player in the squad has been issued an indicator, ensuring consistent coverage across training sessions and competitive fixtures.
Player welfare in women's rugby
Women's rugby at grassroots level is one of the fastest-growing areas of the game. More players, more fixtures, more collisions — and the same limited access to medical staff on the sideline that makes GumGauge's objective visual signal so valuable at every level of the game.
The GKT Women's RFC partnership is GumGauge's first full-squad supply to a women's rugby club, and reflects the company's commitment to making the product accessible across all forms of contact sport — regardless of level, age or gender.
The partnership builds on GumGauge's growing network of club and university relationships, which now spans schools, university sides, and grassroots clubs across the UK.
GumGauge is an objective tool to support sideline decision-making. It is not a diagnostic device, and does not replace assessment by a qualified individual.
